All members of the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine shall be of good moral and professional character and shall be elected to membership in the manner herein provided.
Active members shall be physicians who are active in medical practice, teaching or research in Southeastern Wisconsin.
The number of active members of the Academy shall not exceed three hundred fifty.
The fee for Annual dues shall be established by the Officers and Council of the Academy. Currently dues are $225 per year.
How to Apply For Membership
If you are interested in applying for membership in the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine, or would like to nominate a potential member, please contact Amy John, Executive Director at email@example.com or phone 414/456-8249. There is also a form at the bottom of this page that you can submit directly for further information regarding membership or any other comments or questions. (Current Academy members can also use the submission form on theMember's Page to request membership information be forwarded to a potential member.)
Those applying for membership will be asked to submit a copy of their curriculum vitae (preferably by email) to the Academy office to circulate to our Membership Committee. One letter of nomination will also be required from a current Academy member. The Academy office can take care of requesting the nomination letter on behalf of the applicant.
We strongly encourage and welcome our current members to nominate new members. Simply contact the Academy office at the link listed and give the name and address of the potential member. The details will all be taken care of at the Academy office. If you know of someone who may be interested in joining, but would like to first attend one of our meetings, simply contact the office in advance of the dinner/program and arrangements can be made.
